About the project
The Biblical History Atlas documents what the biblical text says and what independent evidence shows. It also records where the evidence is uncertain or disputed and where it runs out.
The project does not manufacture evidence for Scripture, and it does not start from an assumption that Scripture is false. Disagreements among scholars and among interpretive traditions are represented accurately.
Bible text stored locally is the public-domain World English Bible. ESV and NKJV are the preferred study translations and are referenced, not reproduced. Enduring Word (David Guzik) is the preferred commentary. It is cited and paraphrased as interpretation, never treated as historical corroboration.
